Thumbs way up for the Blitz! They will have fun, they will catch fish, and best of all, they will be safe!

Oh, and they will want to buy a bigger boat when they get back.

Default Sea Lions and Nets

Last friday the 12th were we out and about in Newport. The kids had never seen the fleet docks so we went and motored by to show them all the boats. At the west end of the docks right at the end of the break wall, we saw a good sized lion on a boat tearing apart the nets on the reel to get at the fish that were left in it. We blew the horn and shouted but he never moved and nobody came out to see what all the noise was about. He aparently jumped up the net slide and began feasting.

Our question is how do we notify some one next time and what can we do to get the animal off the boat so the do not shred the nets like he was doing. We ran out of ideas and finnaly left him to eat the fish that he shredded the net to get to.

Also my husband and son are going for bottom fish on monday. He hopes that they will be on the Blitz. Any thumbs up or down info on this boat or captain. Any good seasick stuff for kids and adults that you would recommend.
Thanks for your help
