Does anyone have any good or bad info concerning Jon's Mobile Boat Repair?

Motor is a 40hp yamaha jet drive with a blown cylinder. If someone has a decent referral it'd be much appreciated. I'm torn between the rebuild and just buying a new motor.

Any info, positive or negative, regarding Jon's or other yamaha repair guys would be a big help. PM's are welcomed.

After shopping around for several weeks, I decided to pull the trigger with JMMR. He did an excellent job rebuilding my blown cylinder and I'm very happy to have selected him for the job. I've got a few hours on the new motor and so far it's running better than ever.

The great part about Jon is that he always called and/or showed up exactly when he said he would. The job was done on the timeline he promised, his professionalism and knowledge is top notch.

As if things couldn't get any better, the total cost came in cheaper than his original quote.

All in all I would highly recommend him for big or small jobs.

I agree... just had Jon over to replace the impeller on my boat, he went above and beyond, lubed everything and took the time to explain the entire process to me without charging me for the explanation... He also addressed another problem that I was having while waiting for the gear lube to drain... quality mech without the overpriced shop rates... he's got my business for life!

and i thought i was the only one who knew....everything i learned from him chattin his ear off while he was workin (i handed him stuff ) more than worth the rate and service..he was recommended to me by a coworker & will continue to refer peeps to him
