Bowshop with best bow selection???
I am looking to get a new bow, and want to shoot as many as possible to test out before making my decision. Local shop here in bend is low on inventory. So if figure i will have to head to the valley/portland. I would like to shoot bowtechs, mathews, hoyts, diamonds. I would also like to shoot some others such as elite, alpine,APA,Pearsons, if there is a bow shop somewhere within reasonable driving distance that carries them.....

i think archers afield in tigard is a main dealer for martin, hoyt. Then you have broken arrow archery in milwaukie who carries bowtech, mathews, and a few others, they may even carry the fred bear compounds.

Check out The Bow Rack in Eugene and then you could hit the factory bow shop at Bowtech.

Broken Arrow in Milwaukie carries Hoyt, Mathews, Bowtech, Bear, Elite and PSE. The best staff and techs in town as far as I'm concerned.

You can't beat The Bow Rack. They carry Mathews, Hoyt, PSE, & Martin. Very knowledgeable staff also.

Re: Bowshop with best bow selection???
Definitely stop by the Bow Rack. Wayne and his crew are very helpful. They'll share their opinions without being pushy and they'll setup bows for you to try all day long. I spent several hours in the Bow Rack shooting new bows and the guys there were great.
Not to bag on Archers Afield, but Archers is closer to my home and I went to them first when I was in the market for a new bow last year. If you already know what you want, they'll get it for you, but as far as helping you select a rig that's good for you, I didn't find them helpful at all. I was also disappointed to learn that their price on the bow that I wanted was $200 more expensive than the exact same bow at The Bow Rack. I'm all for supporting the local pro shop, but $200 and not-so-good service? I couldn't do it. I talked to Jim (owner) about it and he wouldn't budge on his price, so The Bow Rack earned my money.
