Default What happened to the traveling decoy?

What ever happened to the decoy that was passed around last year and used all over the country? Am I missing something on this or is it still around?

I'll let the owner chime in, but I believe their last season out, the boys came back with evidence of friendly fire.

Well, the Blues Brothers were a bit worn but they still enjoyed many hunts in many places. They may make another appearance this season. I have not talked to Geoff about it but I wouldn't mind sending them out again. Howard (mine) has a little stress fracture in his neck that should be fixed before going out again but all in all, they both are in pretty goosd shape for the number of hunts and traveling they have done.

I am not sure if you guys noticed but Howard actually made a guest appearance at the Decoy Carving Contest booth at the Oregon Waterfowl Festival. He and I enjoyed the show.

Stay tuned for more updates on the unretirement of Hank & Howard.

BTW-I just started a new thread asking for stories and pictures about the adventures of Hank & Howard. We will have to see what the response is.

Thanks
Jason

Havent heard much about Hank and Howard these days. When I was doing a search here on ifish for something I can across Meister Jäger thread about the two famous decoys. So, where have these decoys been for the 2010-2011 Waterfowl season?

Geoff, are they still out there kickin around? It was fun reading the stories about the hunts these two guys went on!

Last I heard the two of them were in rehab. I have also heard they are dodging massive back child support in at least four different countries and have many susie's trying to locate them. Also if anyone knows thier where abouts homeland security is trying to locate them too.

iFish is like the mob, they never forget!

Hank is home. He's done with the road. There are other, younger decoys that constantly nag Hank about his "stories". I think some of them have the wanderlust.

Good to know - I had heard a rumor that he took up with a cute little redhed hen half his age and followed her off to Florida where he could dabble around a warm beach instead of freezing his pinfeathers off in a cold marsh some place.
