It was a cold and windy day on the ydnaS River....drifted from Oxbow to Lewis & Clark ...some spots were skinny but not much to worry bout.
Did I mention that it was windy? We got into some suckers....A pea mouth chub and I hooked this shiny buck that had two full sandshrimp in it's innards! Not too much pressure today for a Holiday....It took both of my chins to land this fish assout:
That fish was caught in a really sandy part of the kinda/somewhat/lower river....about 2 1/2-3ft depth, a sliver of green water next to a rock along the bank
It's that one rock that is next to a tree hanging over the river
I was experimenting with a new technique, I call it..."out-of-control extreme wind gust electric-sidedrifting" assout:
Good Luck !
