Wife and I decided to go to Newport today, in spite of bad weather and crab reports. Ocean was really lumpy in the am, wind blowing straight down the pipe, 15-20. Decided to bag the jaws and ran up to 12A, in between there and the green can, dropped our gear. 3 pulls and we had a dozen. Not monsters, but made the gauge. Took our 12 and went home after 4 hours. Everybody we talked to gave sad reports with bad numbers. Weather got nicer as the day went on. Had a great day on the water on wife's day off.

Here's the haul!
First mate and water doggie!
Patiently waiting for one more crab in the pot.
