HAVA- Honored American Veterans Afield

In a meeting last Friday, I was introduced to this organization: HAVA, Honored American Veterans Afield. Founded, funded and staffed by companies and company personnel within the shooting sports industry, their goal is to assist in reconnecting disabled veterans with opportunities afield.

HAVA is an extremely passionate group with exceptional connections. Their problem is effectively reaching disabled vets. My understanding is there is much government process involved in locating those who may be well-served by a quality trip afield within which they may focus on what they still can do, rather than upon what they are no longer able to do.
