Finally made it out onto the Big Pond Sunday . Wind was calm, seas were flat, with only a little 4 to 5 foot swell at 12-13 seconds, it was sunny...in short--what a day!!
Oh yeah, the bottomfish bite was on too!!!
The next 2 days look like they will be dandies too. Anybody need a crewmate for Tuesday??

I was at the beach saturday and sunday. Boy the ocean looked a lot better on Sunday. I am glad it is supposed to hold because today is the ocean opener, and I think that Corrirod is headed out for the big ones...
Good to meet you yesterday. If you thought the ocean as flat on Sunday, you should have seen it today. Very nice. Only problem is that I had to watch it from the beach!!!
It is supposed to be the same weather tomorrow. Good luck if you get out.

Me and some buddies went out of Garibaldi sunday and one of the guys said it was as nice a day as he had seen. We cought 18 black fish and 5 lings (one blue) not a full limet but more than plenty. At one point one side of the boat was sanged up on the bottom them the other side of the boat hooks up with a double of lings. We saw a couple of commen dolphins, it was a great day on big blue and I needed that fix in a bad way. :smile:
