Fish Assassin: gone but not forgotten ...

It was a sad day at our house Sunday as we bade a fond farewell to an old
friend.

Well, my good friend of 15 years and commercial fishing partner for
12 1/2 of those years is gone. It was sooo sad today as she was pulled
out of the yard to be used and abused by another owner. I'll miss the
old girl. She was the first NEW boat I had ever had built for me ...
as a matter of fact, she was the first new boat I had ever owned.

My wife was so sad as she was pulled down the drive and out of the lot that
she had tears in her eyes. My kids grew up with that boat and learned how to
commercial *and* sport fish on her. They learned thier love of the ocean by
taking fishing trips out with dad.

The good thing is that she was bought by a buddy that is really good to his
boats. She'll get a lot of tender loving care, just like she deserves!!

Good bye, Fish Assassin. You'll be missed, but surely never forgotten!

I asked if I could get a little 16 foot fishin boat for the big C and my wife went out and bought a 27 foot sea ray. I have no idea how to fis out of that darn thing. I filled it up the other day, that broke me I guess we don't need cable. I love my wife but damn. be careful what you ask for

Got the new ride for the end of the fishing season in 2001. It's on the web
page listed below ... a 30'x11.5' catamaran powered by twin 250hp diesels.

I'm not complaining that I don't have a ride any more, I'm just going to
miss the boat that was such a part of the family for so many years!
