so how is the water clarity is it any better thinking about taking my pontoon down more importantly is anyone taking anything home any info would be appreciated
Just walked out and took a look... It's still murkey, probably 6 - 8 inches visability. I was up on Merwin, Yale, and Swift yesterday. They are the exact same color. Its not so muddy anymore, just kina of a phosoresent green color. Looks like the Sisbis up near randle that carries all the st hellens ash.
I saw one boat on the river today, down by the airport anchored up.
Tough fishing up there.. Fish can't really see the offering!! The water needs to clear but it will likely be another month or 2 before we get a desirable clarity. Heck I'd be happy with 2 feet of vis but last I saw it (last week) it was about 8" of visibility....
You better hit them on the nose if you're going to catch them in that water....
i ran around yesterday... didn't get to do much fishing with the water being so dirty. i couldnt even see my prop on my t9. didn't stop the plunkers tho.
Don't let the water fool you, the fish are there. Back troll something that has lots of sent and will make some noise.
