Default rock fishing near gearheart/seaside?

I am going on a retreat this weekend in Gearheart and would love to do some fishing for saltwater species. Can anyone point me to a place to fish in this area, don't want your honey hole, just a general location to drown some shrimp or toss a jig.
Thanks

The Gearhart Seaside area offers fine fishing for
Crabs or Mudcats and Bullheads right off the Hwy 101 bridge at the Pizza joint. Bring your crab rings and bucket and pole.
If I were you I'd try and scare up a steelhead on the Necanicum or Lewis & Clark river, leave the kids to crab.

Once the ocean and River calms down in May drop me or anyone else that fishes up here an e-mail.
Heck, we'll even tell ya where our honey hole is but you don't want to go there now.

You can usually get some flounder out of the Necanicum this time of year. I fish behind the High School at the bend in the river. A light rod and sand shrimp is all you need. Fish the incoming tide.
