Default Boat question for Bird Nest.

I have been thinking about the sleeper jump seats for my boat .
I thought I remember seeing some pics of your boat with the sleeper seats in it.
I called the co. (Hewes) and they sent me a diagram of the seats .They didnt include the seat box height????
From the looks of the pics and the set up in my boat ,it looks like the rear side tray will be in the way for the seat to sit all the way to the side. This looks like it will put the seats too far out into the center area of the boat.
I went to the Hewes site and couldnt find the pics of No-quarter. HELP!!!! id. painter

IP,

The pics of No Quarter have been bumped to page 2 on the Hewes site. At the top of the page, there is a button to skip to page 2.

My boat is kept in storage and right now I am on my "on" work cycle(7 12hr shifts in a row), so I am not in a positon to physically measure or take any additional pics at this point.

My "rear side tray" runs up almost to the helm for rod storage with a area of built in floatation under that. The seats are two parts. The back rest is mounted to a bracket and completely independent of the lower box portion.

One thing, when you try and open the lid on the box seat it kind of binds preventing you from opening it all of the way. Is this the area of your concern? If I am not answering your question, please let me know.

Joe

Thanks Joe. I did have that concern also but was mostly worried about the loss of floor space.
It seems that the seats will make the hallway too skinny. id. p.

IP,

Taking up too much room hasn't been an issue with me and I really like having that much extra storage. I will take some pics and post them on the Hewescraft site, so as not to bore our fellow Ifishers.
