LOVE THIS QUOTE:

“It’s more inhumane to go and take a cougar and let it go in the hills and think, as Disney says, it’ll be happily ever after,” he said.

BRAVO to Michael Burrell- hopefully that bit of truth will sink in to some dense minds.....but I don't have too much hope. Awesome that he put it that way
Now if only the Jefferson, OR coalition to "save" the "endangered cougars of Oregon" would read the article and think twice about their statement that cougars "only cull out the sick and weak". 13 sheep in one night sounds more like a thrill-kill to me. I also thought about their statement when we found a big, gorgeous cougar-killed buck last weekend...."sick and weak"??????

My friends mother in law just had their biggest meanest llama taken out by what they are pretty sure is a cougar. I also don't buy the sick and weak argument.

Only good cat is a dead cat round our parts. See one almost every weekend I'm out dog hunting. Saw a real mature female four weeks ago, estamating around 160-180. Sometimes they walk away and sometimes.......they walk away.......???????

any dead cat is a nice cat! the weird thing is next day we saw another but she was at least 1000 yds out and we were on the stalk for buck so we left her, probably couldnt have got close enough even if we would have tried. them puddies are smart and illusuive! you guys get your cat tag for this year yet? i am going east 1st week of march see if we can have some fun!
