Default New gas tank

I am starting to do research into getting a new tank for my boat. I have 74 gal capacity right now but I would like to see if I can make it 100 gal. I just started to look into doing this so I don't have all the info I need (what my dimensions are below the deck, etc.). I am going to pull up the flooring later this week and see if there is any more room or not. I have a supplemental tank above deck now but it really takes away from the floor space and I need as much as I can get. The reason is for the Tuna and halibut trips.
I called a service place to see if they would even do the work if there is room but they told me they would not change the design which was originally installed due to insurance reasons. Should I abandoned this idea? Am I really going to mess up the boat if I do this or put undue risk in with my trips out into the ocean if I go through with this? I can design the thing no problem but I don't have enough exp in welding something like this so I would like to get a pro to do it.
Specifics--23'6" jet craft 74 gal tank below deck, want approx 100 gal (can be a little less), 150 hp oceanrunner johnson, 8 4-stroke yamaha.
Boat works great I was going to replace the flooring and thought why not look at doing both at the same time. What do you guys think? I know there is a lot of experience on this board and would like to draw from it whatever I can. Thanks in advance.
P.S. What if I put this topic on the main board? I put it hear because you guys know the reasons behind the added fuel and floorspace when dealing with tuna and halibut (rule of 3).

Not sure if this will work but let me know:

I might have snudged on the high side on some of the dimensions so if it's real close let me know and I'll re-measure accurately.
