Talking Foster Smallies

Anyone ever tried. Me and my older bro went to summers ago and hammered them. Using small artificial baits and chunks of worms. in two hours went through two boxes of worms and didnt want to go into town, so we used anything else. Probably caught 20 a piece, and more dinks

i think it was 13 or 14 inches. Once you come out of sunnyside, go under the bridge and you see that old boat dock, then there is that cove near just on the other side. if the water is up you can see big rocks near the shore. Jig just about anything down there and fish on!!

We catch quite a few little ones on Foster. Did catch a Couple nicer ones last year around two pounds right where you said you caught yours. A friend of mine caught some real nice yellow perch there last fall also.

Amatuers jk! The real fun is running up river from sunnsyide, if you hit it right and there is enough water in the river, thats where the good ones are! Largemouth fishing used to be decent in foster 20 years ago, the smallmouth are pretty small on average, the biggest one i have seen caught was 3 lbs or so. Upriver!

I talked to a guy last year that just slayed them in May on topwater! It was an early bite.
