Default Tohatsu outboards anybody have or had one ?

ran across a 15hp tohatsu 15hp motor looks to be maybe 5 or 6 years old does'nt run no spark the owner told me it needs a ignition coil any info would be helpfull

I've had a couple. They were great. It's really a Nissan. There used to be a guy over under the I-5 bridge out by the expo center. Don't know if he's there anymore.

My father-in-law has had one on his skiff in Sitka Alaska for about ten years. If he can't break it, then it must be one tough outboard. The only negative I've ever heard about them is that they are almost impossible to take apart to repair if they've spent too much time in the salt. This being said, I own a Yamaha.
