House rentals,charters?

I would like to come over to the coast this year and get in on some of the action.We would like to rent a house for 5-7 days for 4-6 people.We want to go on charters for king salmon and rockfish/lings.Also do some crabbing and razor clams if possible.Hoping to get some input on areas,rentals,when to come and good charter outfits.We were thinking about Depoe Bay but are flexible.Any help would be appreciated.

I know of two big houses right on the beach that are nice rentals. They sit by themselves and are north of Newport... between the lighthouse and Ottercrest. Let me know if interested and I will send you the contact information for them.

If you are considering anytime in the summer, that is prime time here on the coast and it would be best to get your dates now. Stay away from holiday weekends and try to fish on weekdays and sightsee during the weekends. There really is no slow time that time of year as far as rentals are concerned. All of the charters listed here on ifish are good and if you are here in late July or Aug. consider a tuna trip also. Razor clams are closed down here right now due to domoic acid levels.
