PDX Outboard Parts Wanted
I have a 1979 Chrysler-Wards Sea King 7.5 H.P. kicker that could use a new recoil starter spring. Found one online back East but $50.00 seems quite steep. I lost track of my options for used or new parts for this motor in the Portland area. Any ideas? The old one did not break but has been tweaked enough that it slips or binds and will not rewind the rope. I will work on it some more but thinking a new one may be needed. It appears this generation of motor was made from about '79-'84 or so.
