Cougar down

I talked to my dad today and I guess my brother-in-law hit a cougar with his log truck near London road in Cottage Grove. I guess he was only a mile away from a school too. The fish and game said it was 150 pounds and 7.5 ft.

I wonder if cougars are using the road gravel as kitty litter?

Sure have come a long way from a 200 cougar population. Log truck kills cougar would've been big news in 1970.
