I have heard of people catching them in the MC. Talked to someone at the show a couple years ago.

Boat is a must for walleye. Below Bonneville usually is after the snow melt in June. Nice fish when you can find them. This time of year, head upriver to Rufus or better yet Irrigon. Big trophy fish get caught now thru april . Go to the next Lower columbia walleye club meeting to learn more and grab an open seat for the March 7 outing. Pm me for more info.

I fish Irrigon around twice a week. If anyone wanted to hop on board I wouldn't mind the company. I can't promise to get you into the fish, but it is a great area to fish trophy size eyes. last year I caught my biggest at 14.5 pounds. All I ask for in return is a six pack to keep me warm.
