caught some yesterday, they are pretty big. The school doesn't stick around long, when you find them you better catch all you can, the bite only lasted a minute.

I was there with my friends on Saturday and had similar results. The schools move fast. We only got about a dozen. We didn't even start fishing until 12pm. 12:30 was high tide.

RR

This weekend is the Seafood & Wine Festival. They usually have an area roped off for boat trailers. It's just a matter of getting to that roped off area.

You could also launch out of Toledo and avoid the mess. It is about a 15-20 minute cruise.

me and a buddy was there on last saturday seen a few caught tides were ripping no luck for us buddies boat. oil injected was not mixing the oil the boat off the dock idled fine then headed under the bridge.the boat started to knock then died.idled next to the fuel dock and crabbed, caught a few red rock. then flaged down a couple to tow us in.man they sure had a nice north river sled. never had any luck getting somebody to stop when i'm broke down on the side of the road.but on the water there seems to be someone at the right time.

god bless and good fishing

I always run out to the green can and drift with the incoming tide untill the bite shuts off then run back up and drift again. We do pretty good that way. you can catch them all summer in there..
