When is the next TA meeting? Mar 4, Lucky Lab
Just wondering... Havn't been to one yet but i will make it... They are hard for me because of traffic and i am in vancouver and i don't get off of work sometimes untill 1900 but i will do my best to plan for the next one???

Thanks Rod, i am not even sure what goes into a TA meeting, as i havn't had the pleasure of attending one...
And i am sure HOG would love one on the east side also...
Not trying to pass the buck, but i would do it if someone would help me. Just let me know what we need and i will try my best to get it done...
Being a recruiter in the navy makes me pretty resourceful....

Sunday morning. Heck yea, I volunteer.
Drifty and I was going to meet in my driveway to install my new rocket launcher on Sea Lion.
When we are done we can all work on that shrub in the backyard. NO, it isn't yard work, it is pre season conditioning. Gotta get in shape fer all the fish we're gonna bag.
Who's gonna bring the chipper shreader?
Free jar of Tuna for the first 6 folks to show up

Tule,
It's really pretty easy. Just find a place that's big enough to handle 20-50 folks, serves alcohol and food, and doesn't mind a bunch of fishing freaks bringing various types of tackle in their establishment.
The rest is kind of a make-it-up-as-you-go deal!

HMMMM!!!! I wonder why Rod is happy all of a sudden? Rod as soon as i get all of my physicals out of the way i will look into doing it. What would be a central point for all of the Dawgs???
And a place big enough???
I know we can't make everybody happy, but if it were up to me it would be here in Vancouver, and i know most of the Dawgs live in portland.
So will look for a central point.
Oh well part 1 phys is on monday and it will most likely be my seperations phys. This sucks.

I'm just looking forward to another meeting.
Hopefully some of the Portland Dogs can give some feedback of some possible locations? I don't know Portland at all unfortunately so I'm no help.
Liquid, you got that boat "tuna ready" yet? I'm hoping to get an invite on my dream boat(your boat) for a carking trip this summer! :grin: I'm seaworthy, pay my share, and I'm not a bad deckhand!

You are reading my mind, Bugleman. The Lab has lots of space as long as you don't mind being outside. At the rear of the building are 30-40 picnic tables. It is first come first served so we would want to get there fairly early and reserve one end of the area (with our presence).
Dogs are welcome as long as they are Labs! Good micro-brew and an alright menu (the Bento is pretty good). Works for me.

This is the correct address. I suggest any Thur or Fri night. Thursdays are less crowded nad the sooner the better. The place will be a zoo if you wait until the weather gets too good. NOW is a very good time.
How about Thursday, March 4, 1800hrs until whenever.

Sounds great to me! You may want to call ahead to warn them that the Dogs will descend on their establishment. If we bombard them on a night when they're not usually crowded, they may need to staff up.
Historically, when we've held meetings on Fri. nights, there have been about 50 participants. A few weekday meetings netted about 20 or so.
And hey, don't worry about central location - there really isn't such a thing. Plan it and they will come!

I think the 6th is a Saturday. It also happens to be the day of the GI Joes Sturgeon tournament. I don't know how many of you sturgeon fish, but I know that it will go until about 8 or 9 o'clock that evening.

Compromise with March 5, Friday and have a bigger turnout? The Lab would also be a little more crowded but I thin we can get there early enough to stake our claim.

Well, the 4th is my pre birthday party, the 5th is the B-Day party and the 6th 7th and 8th are recovery days.
I had planned to fish 3 arch rocks so if the weather cooperates that is where I will be but If I am not able to go fishing I guess I better find a designated driver and show up

The fourth works for me I will be leaving for Mexico for a month but have to pick the boat up from Jerrys on the third (time for a new top) so I should still be in town on the fourth

I am in. I will be bringing some harpoon stuff for anyone who wants to buy but hasn't been able to yet. New tri-cut points are available. Very cool. $10 bucks extra per though, it's a bunch more work.
