Default Springers use telephones.

A friend of mine just called and said the springers had called him on the phone.

Here is what he learned.

They are going to be late this year.
They won't be hungry till after lunch.
They like Anise on their meals.

Can you believe it? I didn't think Springers could use telephones!!

Anyway, thought I'd pass this along. Use it for what it's worth. I mean, after all, you really never know.

Jen

Can you hear me now! I agree jennie. Seeing what myself and turtlesoup have been watching we concure that the early springers do have telephones. Obviously they call the chief. I've left my phone on but no springers as of yet. Stay tuned I think the chief's phone/sonar fish finder just went off yet again. The Happy Hooker.

They must be using all of those cell phones that get dropped into the water.

If you happen to drop yours in, I'd reccommend getting it shut off immediately. The last thing you need is some irresponsible salmon racking up your minutes by calling Salmon Psychics and Fish Phone Sex numbers.

Did you get the number on caller I.D.? It may have been my phone that went swimming in the Columbia last year?

They called me, I know because I have caller ID. It was obscene, just a lot of heavy splashing.

Someone on this board described having their cell phone fall out of their shirt pocket into the river the other day. Now we know they were just chumming for springers.
