Default Jigging supplies in BULK

Do anyone know where to get soft plastics like double tail grubs and shad patterns in bulk? Also, lead head jigs. GI Joes is not the way to go. Get's expensive.

Sometimes you can get good deals when Englunds has their sidewalk sale (check their website - I think they'll have one this spring). We found the cheapest way to go on the jig heads is to make your own. Englunds carries the molds. Good luck...Bob

The mepps catalog is usually pretty good. If you buy any of their gear the address is on the back or you can go to their web site (www.mepps.com) and they'll send it to you for free. Some of the baits are a little soft and get torn up by the rockfish but if you have a couple hundred it shouldn't matter much. As for the jig heads I suggest making your own. It's about $25 for a mold, $8 for 100 hooks and lead is pretty cheap at the junk yards and recylcling places. It only takes a few hours to make enough for a month or two (if you fish a lot) and the cost is cut down to around 15 cents a piece.

This is who I use for bulk Shad Bodies and grubs for bottom fishing. They are mostly a bass catalog, but have good prices on bulk plastics and lure and rod components.

Search for plastic baits in the online catalog, or have them send you a catalog.

Try barlowstackle - it's on the web or you can do a google search.

Mod's, delete if this steps on any ifish sponsers?

Bob's in Longview carries bulk plastics and sells bulk plastics (including 1", 2", 3", 4" and 6" shads) as "special orders" and they do ship to folks out of the area.

the "new" Fort Canby store is going to offer all of their fishing gear from the old store at a yard sale over Memorial Day weekend. Thats when the Long Beach Peninsula has the worlds longest garage sale,,,,,,,,,she said she has a ship container full of tackle that will be put up for sale for pennies on the dollar. They always had a lot of bottom-jetty fishing stuff
