Default Reel recomendation

I just acquired a Lamiglas MBS 602 L a 2-6lb light/fast action spinning rod. Found it at the local pawn shop for $30 Anyway I am looking for a spinning reel for it and thought before I go straight for a small shimano sedona I would ask you all if there is another small spinning reel that is around $40 I should consider. Rod will be used for small stream trout and smaller to medium sized lake fishing.

Default Re: Reel recomendation

I'm drawn to gear that I won't cry over when one of my many inexperienced guests, (or ME) drops one over the side, on the rocks or in the bottom of the boat. I have yet to get a bad reel. The main features I look for are wider spools (less line memory and twist) and continuous anti-reverse. I've found some great reels under $30 on sale.
