Default Fishing in Bermuda?

My wife and I are heading out to Bermuda the end of June for a week. Was checking to see if any of the salty dogs have any experience with fishing around there and if their are any recommended guides?
We both want to go out and have a good time and catch some incredible fish in the process. Would like to try the tag and release marlin fishing.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks,
Paul B.

I happen to be an expert Bermuda Guide. No charge for you, just cover my airfare and Hotel.

Oh- you may have to purchase us a boat and some gear when we get there too.

I think I'll still fit in a suitcase. It better have rollers though, I have gained a few pounds in the last few years and I usualy bring 200 or 300 pounds of fishing gear.

In my IGFA discount guide is a reference.

Capt. James Olander ( or Virginia Olander), St. Davids. Single and multiple day charters aboard fully equipped Bruno & Stillman, Barong. (441) 297-0715 Ofc. (441) 297-0299, Email: albatross@ibl.bm

ALSO

Capt. Allen DeSilva, Pembroke, Bermuda (441) 295-0835 Email: mako@ibl.bm

and

Capt. Keith Winter, Pembroke, Bermuda (441) 792-7131 Email: playmate@ibl.bm

I'd say you usually can't go wrong with an IGFA certified captain, but I do not know these folks.
I've been to Bermuda, though I haven't fished there. Everthing is pretty close, but I'd still compare with the guide where they are vs. where you're staying.

Good Luck!

Hmmm, with an entourage like that they might not let us through customs.
With Mel's questionable pink attire  and the wanted posters for Keta's carking adventures we would probably get thrown off the island in short order and from what I saw on the maps, its a long swim back.

I hear they have black and blue fin tuna running in the area about the time we will be there. Now that would be a blast, or wahoo or dorado or sharks or barricuda or tunny or jacks or or .....or....

I think I going to have a meltdown with all the options....

I'm already dreaming of the sun, sand and a screaming reel!!!!

Now I can tell you some stories about my uncles Sven and Olie

Thanks for the info Billfisher. They have a list a mile long of guides available, anything to help narrow it down is great.

Keta, my family is from Minnesota, I know way to many stories about Sven and Olie.
