Default daisy chain thoughts??

What are the tuna fishermans thoughts on using something like this for daisy chains? These have basically no weight so they wouldnt make lures without some way to keep them down in the water.

1/16th inch hole thru them that can be drilled out to 3/16 if needed. Length of 4" each.

I would think they would work for coho fishing in the ocean???

And look great on the Christmas Tree too. Look cool but I'm not the man to ask if they will work. Hope someone with actual knowledge will answer.

I was thinking the same thing C/E!

This could work perfectly. I can tell the wife I'm not buying fishing gear, I'm buying Christmas decorations! I'll run them for tuna in the summer and hang them on the tree in the winter!

Good thinking Roy!

As far as them working for tuna, I have no doubt they would work. I would rig them all the same color though and space them out a little farther.

I bet if you added a little weight to the front of that chain they would really create a heck of a smoke trail.

Sorry Kujo, I didnt make these. :depressed: I got an email from some guy I had never heard of who wanted to know if I wanted to buy any of them

They are a couple bucks apiece and have an injection molded head.

His primary market is selling them to salmon fishermen as attractors, but after talking to him about adapting them for tuna rigs he thinks he can do something for us These are strung on the line in the photo just to show the color options, I agree they are spaced kind of close for a daisy chain.

He is mailing me some samples, maybe I will get them in time for the next TA meeting to display.

For what Melton and the others are charging for
the strip teasers, it sure as heck would be worth a try.
I'd be happy to test drive one.

BOE, did you get rid of that nasty old Duckworth and get a worthy Tuna boat yet? Oops if you haven't sold it yet, just curious how close you were to shark chum. Doc.

Doc, the Duck still has my name on the title though as springer season gets closer I keep getting more and more interest.

Suppose to test drive a boat on Sunday, I hope it runs and feels like I want it to.
