Isn't Mike the guy out of Vancouver who teaches classes? I've had friends who used him, and were very pleased with the results.
I went to "Sea School" at Clatsop Community College to study for my Masters Near Coastal License, and was very pleased with the job they did preparing me. I only missed one question on international portion (necessary for Alaska Licensing), and I KNEW the answer too .
I don't think you'll go wrong with Mike, and Kujo won't lead you astray.

I originally tested at portland. Passed phase one and failed two and three after months of home study. Second try, passed one and two but not three. Went to Clatsop and after a day and a half of studying aced the whole thing including international. The only way to go as far as i'm concerned!

Captain Kujo, is Mike Fryer still with "Sea School," in Vancouver, or does he teach on his own? Is there still a "Sea School?"

If I remember correctly, he is retired Coast Guard. I studied with him at Vancouver a long, long time ago. Passed a very difficult two day test for a Masters License.

He is a very good instructor, will teach you only what you need to know to pass your test.

He's on his own and yes he is retired from the MSO in Portland many years ago. He's still at it. Training the "best of the best" just my opinion of him
