Default new sturgeon addict

I went with my boss in his new and unfisfied boat yesterday on the willie to try and get the new smell off. We went to a sturgeon clinic the week before and he went to another one prior to that and with the advice we learned we went for it. I've always said it's better to be lucky than good and testerday we were lucky! the first spot we anchored in did the trick and we proceeded to put on our own clinic cause man we spanked em'. No keeper size but a couple darn close ones. I'm glad we went on a no keeper day cause that just hooked me for takin' one home some day. My boss is still a lurker on the board so we need to get him out of the closet. I'll start him off with a question then he can tell his story with any luck. What is the best and proper way to clean one of these things? Any illustrations would be especialy nice. Thanks in advace and everybody tell the boss that the board isn't always "Days of our lives" and it's a great way to meet good folks and learn alot. Tight lines everyone!!

If you do a search, there have been many discusions on cleaning sturgeon. My favorate is the hang/skin and fillet over the garbage can trick. Super easy and clean.
Glad you had a great first trip. Try to hold out for some fresh bay football fish if you can since we only get to keep 5 this year. Might as well make em the good quality ones.

Thanks for the story. Now I want to hear the boss's version. " Days of our Lives" What bait did you use? Who caught the most?
