Detroit Lake

Up to the lake today, managed only 4 fish, would of had a limit but my son had all the action and he was always goofing off, by the time i got to his rod, fish gone. Rainbow glitter turbo power bait only thing to produce a bite. Only worms to be had are in Detroit. Fished east of the log boom.

You still had a better day than I did at work! Getting out with the kids is always great. I think I will try Walter werth tomarrow but thanks for the report, I need to try Detroit some day I always drive past it going east and have never fished it.

I rode my bike up to Detroit yesterday, to find some sun, and i did but it was little icy! But it was fun, stopped at the Mongold boat launch, doing lots of work, it will be nice, looks like they are doing some low water boat launch work to me? Saw two boats out working the island, they were working one area pretty hard so something must have been going on!
