WOW...Cool B-day fishin'

Well my wife pulled me off Ifish as soon as I was done goofing off with the 'what did you do' thread for a birthday suprise.
I DID get to fish on my birthday after all.
My daughter handed me a 5' dowl that had tied strips of fabic on it to simulate a fishing pole. On the end they tied one of my down rigger clips on it(just like at the school bazar).
Had me cast into the hallway 'river' over the devider(sp) and BANG fish-on first cast!
Caught a limit of munchies(she knows how I like to keep a care-kit in the rig for the fishing drive)a bunch of cool stuff and the keeper airplane ticket to Phoenix :shocked: to thaw out and visit my folks(snow birds). Sooooooo cool!!!
Welp, better make anouther hot buttered rum and check out the new Cabelas catalog they sent me for my birthday.
