Default Spin on fuel filter comparison report

Current issue of Trailer Boats Mag (February) contains a side by side evaluation of the water handling capability of the various spin on fuel filters.

It gets into filter costs, how much water they can extract, filter construction... etc. Answered several questions I'd developed over the years. Report starts on page 40.

So, are there any significant differences between the filters? I remember a consumer report a few years ago on oil. There were only a couple of oils that were noticably different, the rest were all the same.

love2fish....IMHO there appeared to be... some could handle as little as 13oz of water, while others could handle up to 21oz. Retail prices ranged from $7 per canister to $22.

One that had the better capability also had potential risk factors which the article pointed out.
