Default Any tips on hunting Missouri whitetails

I was wondering if anyone has done much whitetail hunting. I have some family that live in Missouri and I am going to go visit them in November. I am going to be archery hunting and I am not really sure when the peak of the rut is and what tactics work best. If anyone has any info to share I would really appriciate it. Thanks!

Around mid-November those bucks should be hot and heavy in the rut. Actually, the whole month of November should be pretty darn good.

Practice shooting out of a tree stand. You could try some rattling and/or calling. Other than that, set up on a good trail or scrape line and have lots of patience.
