Well as I sit here, taking pictures of birds, and thinking bad to a season behind me, there was one thing I missed, OTHER THAN A BAND

, was to get over to the permit zone once....Curious if anybody would mind an Eastern Cascadian tagging along to shoot, and be a staff photographer

so i live here in the valley in salem ... started the year off pretty good in the pemit zone !!! cacks were everywhere and i mean everywhere !!! but then it hit a lull around late season archery ... so i went to trying to find the ducks, but that never really happened ... well maybe it did, but never any limits just ones and twos the whole season, but i did end the season with a fun couple teal shoots !!! but i am ready for the late season permit zone ready to do some shootin again !!! when i was out on the last day for ducks the geese were just hammering us without any deeks out !!! just a little cluck here and cluck there and the birds were locking and looking !!! cant wait to get back out for the geese !!! sundays are my shooting days around here and it is mostly cacks, but you get a lesser or a western in the bunch once in awhile ... a duck hunt for a goose hunt ? i could do that

I've taken two charity cases so far this season. Both on pretty darn good days.

Apart from the usual "charity cases".

We'll see how the re-opener goes. Been a screwy year...No water...freeze...too much water...break....dry and too shiny now. Supposed to be getting back to some "normal" weather soon.

Wednesday availability is a plus. No pics needed.
