Default TA meeting... Newbie perspective!

I thought I was hooked just reading the posts! Seeing the addiction up close is a little scary! I want to thank Rod for the work setting it up, and John and the rest for the great info, and making a newbie feel at home. It was nice to put faces with the names. I hope to get to fish with some of you this summer!

I too am a newbie that had a great time at the TA meeting. I found that "a nut" spelled backwards is...

Many firsts for my wife and I: including how to tie a tuna leader (thanks WP), what a clone looks like (it's not a cow?), a beautiful wood plug by EDSR (I mean varnished and decked out with flash), and to see my wife floating in the bay  thanks Kujo . Can't wait for fair weather and fishing blue with you guys. Thanks for making me feel welcome! Life is good...

Dittos - great get together and thanks to everyone for the warm hospitality. It was great meeting so many who post regularly here.

Pilar, the info on gear and technique was fabulous! Thanks for the presentation - made the drive from Seattle easily worth the price of admission - the party was the bonus! Thanks also to Corrirod for putting the event on and arranging the accomodations.
