Default Advice on outboard motor

I have a 16 foot 3 man (Or women) pontoon boat weighing 200 lb. It can take up to a 75 lb motor. I was looking for a 3-5 HP longshaft, and I wanted to know what HP motor would be necessary to push my pontoon, a couple of guys and gear, up river reliably. I don't need to fly, just get back to where I put in. The 5 HP weighs about 54 pounds.

Thanks.

frankenfish....it seems we've been through this before, but I can't remember - might that be a Creek Company 'toon from cabela's? Just curious.

Yep, same pontoon. Now I need to get a motor for it.
