Default Famous Again (salty dogs)

Looks like we are all famous again. Did anyone see the Latest copy of "Western" SEA Magazine.

We were mentioned as a good source for fishing and local (ore-wash) knowledge (salty dogs).

I don't know about the rest of you Guys and Gals but, I am kind of hesitant about posting info on my boat and my experiance as per the latest threads dealing with this.
I have been on both sides of the Charter boat thing, I have also been fortunate enough in my life to not need charters for hire anymore and deal with all of the legal issues.
I fish for fun of it.

I do feel very strongly that the Ocean is a very unforgiving environment, and as been the case in summers past, Tuna are not always 20 miles out off the Columbia River, some years there 70-100miles out. I know the Central Oregon coast is most often a different show.

I guess my point to this is do not forget that the best way to learn is from the Pro's (Charter Boat Guys). They get you in the fish and get you home safe and sound, and they need the business.

Yeh, it's the Feb. issue.
Lots of other good local web sites for Tuna and other Big game fishies.
I think we are going to have a whole bunch of new members or lurkers.

Tom, we just recieved the magazine yesterday I couldnt pry it out of Lynn's hands last night. She didnt see anything about the Salty Dogs, but fell asleep while reading.

I do feel as stongly as you do about the Charter situation.
Great Post.
