Default Central Coast Moorage

Any recommendations for annual moorage on the central coast. Best pricing, access, security, that kind of stuff?

Better yet anyone have a 28’ slip available?

I have my boat moored at Depoe Bay. Cost is right around $520/year (I'm paying
for 33 feet and water and electricity are included in that price). If you have
your boat in the water more than 5 months a year it is actually cheaper to pay for
moorage by the year rather than monthly at Depoe Bay. There is NO security with
the exception of a very diligent Harbor Master who watches over everything. In the
last 3 seasons moored there I have not lost anything off my boat ... and I'm *forever*
forgetting to put stuff away ...

Easy access, but the docks themselves are kind of old. Upgrades to the docks/
ramps/power is ongoing. There are presently gates at the top of the ramps but
they are not used. There is talk of getting a "card lock" system on the gates
for security purposes if/when money becomes available.

Fuel is currently a problem, but funding and engineering studies are presently
being done so that we will have diesel fuel available 24x7 and gas available on
weekends (only?) by May.
EDIT: According to Gary (the Harbor Master) the pumps will be credit card only.
The reason gas will not be available weekdays is because of the "pump your own"
rules in Oregon.

As far as I know, if you get your slip early size does not matter.
I presently have a 33x12 foot boat on the West end of dock 3.

Good luck on your search!

Pump your own rules do not apply to Marine (boats), off road use, or Commercial use. Thats how the Card Lock places work (you need a business card).

In fact- MOST marinas MAKE YOU pump your own because they do not want to be liable for a fuel spill.
