Default Accomodations for the TA meeting

O.k., I've made arrangements for us to all stay at the Elizabeth Street Inn. Rooms with a single King or Double Queen are $69. You can upgrade yourself if you prefer. Continental Breakfast included.

I have 12 rooms reserved based on our previous count of who needed rooms. You will still need to reserve your rooms officially by either calling them or using their online service.

The toll free number is 1-877-265-9400.
Their website address is www.elizabethstreetinn.com

Please let them know you are with the Salty Dogs for the group discount rate. When making your reservations online, the price will show up much higher than $69 but don't worry, they will make the adjustment at the hotel.

Our meetings will be held at the Rogue Pub on the Bayfront on Saturday but anyone taking the Boaters License Study course, we will have that meeting at the Elizabeth Street Inn on Sunday morning. I'll post more on that in another thread.

Sorry for the delay but my original plans fell thru!

Please let me know on this thread if you've booked your room so I can keep track of the total without having to call the hotel. Thanks.

Hey Rod, I booked 2 rooms. They sound wonderful! Thanks for setting this up! Heck, I think we paid about the same price at the Money Saver last summer!

Rod, The person sharing the room expense with me has backed out on next weekend. I will most likely need to do something else, unless you are going to get stuck for empty room. Let me know.

corrirod,
If those 2 rooms don't get filled, does that mean we don't get the discount? Just wondering, I'll probably come anyway.

Thanks,
Steve

I'll be booking one of the rooms today, so that only leaves one more person to jump onboard.

We'll get there, don't worry.

It won't effect our room rate but they'll charge me for the meeting room.

We're only 1 short so I'm not worried.

Just booked a room with two queens. That should take care of the meeting room issue.

Fishwhenican, you want to split the room rate with me?

Is anyone heading back toward Waldport after the meeting? My wife and I are trying to figure out ride options, and she doesn't want to wrestle my 3 and 1 1/2 year olds up there to pick me up if it's avoidable. Our cabin is about 2 miles south of Waldport, and I'm willing to pitch in for gas. -D

We just made a last minute decision to stay the night on Sat. I spoke with the E. inn a few minutes ago and they still had rooms available at the 69. rate.

You'll know who my 6 yr old is... the little girl zipping around the pool like a miniature tuna troller in overdrive.

Looking forward!

Yes there are still rooms available.

I think Tailchaser was trying to say he got the last of the 10 rooms we needed, not "the last" room.

There are plenty more rooms in the hotel so please try them out.

Mark, my 5 1/2 year old daughter will love the company at the pool!!!
