Default Proposed Palomar Pipeline map through the Mt. Hood

This really irks me, if you know the area and look at the map its disaster. They are too lazy to use existing power line paths. The Clackamas Lakes are will be ground zero, through Mc Cubbins gulch in the White river, etc.

I agree with you 100%. I sure hope the whole LNG thing gets shot down. Can you imagine trying to fish the lower Columbia when 1 of those ships come in? They will make anyone within a vary large radius of the ship vacate the area till its past. Doesn't seem like we as Oregonians could tolerate all the negitive impacts on our livelihood, just so California can get more natural gas when they won't let them put it down there for them. The whole thing stinks.

Exactly, that is why I am worked over the path through the Mt. Hood. there are more than 1 transmission pathways through the forest, use them, instead they are litterally going to go through several of my hunting areas. Its just being lazy and putting the pipeline through a different path, that I would argue would be easier, existing roads, its already been cleared, etc. I am against this plan, its a I don't give a rat what you think plan. Basically giving Oregon the finger. We don't even get the gas.

This subject has already been beat to death on the community board including one negative assertion that the proposed line would give hunters better access in to these areas. Read thru the thread before we continue.
