Anyone going to the Seattle Boat Show?

I'm planning on attending the Seattle boat show on Jan 16 (opening day) . If any Salty Dogs are there and find something a fellow coastie "just has to have", give me a ring on FM communicator channel 13, sub-channel 7. I will be the guy walking around with a Salty Dogs hat, in a dazed, drugged-like state, with a yearning dog-in-heat look on my face [img]graemlins/idea.gif[/img] . Hey, it's not so bad; My wife gave me permission to at least buy an electronic (alarm-feature) barometer for Andiamo. I'd be open to barometer purchase suggestions if anyone has one. [img]graemlins/1zhelp.gif[/img]
p.s. I'm going back on the 17th for the Boats-afloat part of the show (big boats in the area marinas) .
I hope to bump into a fellow Salty Dog while visiting Seattle!

We have a good sized group going on the 16th and 17th, we will look for the hat, since that look you will have on your face wont help much since that will probably be about 90% of us.

If you buy your tickets on line, you'll save the parking fee for at least one day. As a bonus you'll get a few magizine subscriptions for doing the online thing.

I need to install washing machines this weekend
so I'm opting out of the show.
Think I'll go Tuesday night, might be fewer people to talk over.
The Hammond boys will be there on Saturday. :grin:

andiamo...We're flying up tonite. We'll be at the indoor portion first, and then shuttle over to the Boats Afloat. You'll be able to find me on the 65' Pacific Mariner to see if Julie Rose IV will look good on the transom :grin:

Sorry we didn't connect up in Seattle. I was able to "do" the boat show. It took 8 hours Friday + 5 hours Saturday, and I still felt rushed. I look forward to discussing what you found at the boat show. I didn't see any posts requesting assistant captains for the trip down the coast. That must mean you still have enough money left in the bank for fuel, food and beer for you existing boat.
