Default Worth waiting for.....?

I was wondering if it would be worth waiting for the new Lowrance High Definition gps/fishfinders? I believe the cost will be about two to three hundred dollars more. I am still trying to compare, but am finding it hard to muddle through the terms...etc. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking at the 5" split screen (gps/fishfinder) setup. I do not fish off shore, in depths greater than three hundred feet, and will not need radar.

HELP

I guess that would depend if Lowrances quality is better on these units.

I'd spend my money on Garmin.
