Sushi anyone?
I'm taking a beggining Sushi class at the Beaverton Uwajimaya on Monday, January 5th from 7:45 to 9:00 pm. There are at least 2 more spots if anyone is interested.
I'm not advertising for them, I just don't want the class to be cancelled for a lack of participants.
If you are interested PM or email me for the details or just give them a call.
Oh, and you get to eat what you make.....

Re: Sushi anyone?
Sorry Ray. :depressed:
Let me know if there is another one and I'll try to round up a few folks. Do they let you drink beer while you're doing it? Nothing like beer and sushi..........mmmmmmmmmmm.

Re: Sushi anyone?
Ray,
I would like to try that myself Ray.
I would've this time, but the weather wasn't looking like it was going to cooperate (see exhibit "A" out the window).
Rod- Yes beer, sushi and let's not forget the sharp knives. Sounds like fun.
I think I'll stick to Root Beer. I could be the designated "Cutcha-Guy!" Sh-sha (insert kung-fu sounds here)!
Keep me posted,
Ragnar (Yosockeye yojimbo The Samuri Shushi Flinger)

Re: Sushi anyone?
would have loved to attend but beaverton just doesn't fit into my driving plans..I recieved a sushi mat and paddle for my birthday and looked for some info on the internet that did get me rolling, and it came out okay..but I would love some of the hard to get ingredients..fish powder, roe, rice to sushi vinegar measurements?
Here's a link I found very helpful
Roll your own sushi

Re: Sushi anyone?
Hey, guys: I would be willing to do a sushi class at some point before or during TUNA! seaso. It would even include how to sharpen your blades for best performance. How's that sound, Keta? Fresh Toro right on the boat. Hey, Kamloops, Miss B how does that sound?
