Check Out This Bull!
A friend of mine has been telling me about the bull he photographed through his spotting scope at his in-laws at Christmastime. He finally sent me several shots...here are the best 2. They are a bit "foggy" being through his spotting scope, but I think you can see plenty! Wow!!!!
A 7X7 frame with a couple extras on one side and another on the other side, making it a 9X8. A bit difficult to see specifics, but sure curious what the bugger would score.

Re: Check Out This Bull!
WOW !! I am wondering the true score also. The beam length is extra... extra... long. The inside beam spread is exceptional!

Re: Check Out This Bull!
Wow, great bull.
I can hear the checks being written right now and the guides gearing up to track this bull down.

Nope, Washington. The pic was taken not too awfully far from where that big bull was taken this past year which was posted on ifish several times. Good genetics abound in that area, apparently!

Re: Check Out This Bull!
That's an awesome bull and I don't care what it would score. That being said, I would venture to guess that it won't score anywhere near what some would think. "Thirds and fourths" etc. etc. Not the length needed there that makes up the big differences. But, that is a WAG from the photos.

Re: Check Out This Bull!
I agree.
Good mass, good main beams, good width...tine length is no where near what it would need to be to break the magical number. Even with the extras.
Everyday Joe hunter would still be foolish or very dedicated not to let the air out of him.
Sweet bull.

Re: Check Out This Bull!
Its a darn nice bull but I would be suprised if he went over 380. You have to have it all to break 400!!!!

Good eyes. Looks to be a doe in the front and a cow in the rear?

perhaps if you could post the pic so we can see a larger image, we could take a gander at the score. The image is just too small to make an educated guess.

Re: Check Out This Bull!
Uh, which bull are we scoring, the 9x8 or Bowkill's? I'll go with OR BO hunter's 310-320 on the 6x and for the 9x8, best I could guess is between 350 and 400 but I'll be happy to ground check it to know for sure. Bet there are some boys out looking for those horns this year in both detached and undetached states. Both great bulls but that 9x8 is special.

Hmm...Scappoose fellers are kinda small and shifty. It makes the bull look bigger.
