Off to Mexico
I am off to Mexico, destination unknown, for 8 straight days of fishing. We will be targeting sailfish, dorado and wahooooo!! all with fly gear. There are even some viscious rumors about TUNA being around. I put that one in just for you guys. I will give a detailed report when I get home including the gear and techniques that worked best, at least I hope they work. I am hoping these Research and Deveopment trips to Mexico will help translate to catching TUNA, and dare I say it, swordfish, off the Oregon waters with fly gear.
These R & D trips are a dirty job, but I'm just the guy to do it. The sun, sea, Pacifico and senoritas, my girlfriend had better not see the last two since she is not going.
