Default Thanks Fishplay

A heartful thanks to Fishplay for having a bunch of clueless clammers take over his house this past weekend in Seaside.
Let's make it an annual event.

Oh yeh, the clamming was so-so. Fishplay made us all look like a bunch on amateurs.

Nope, you weren't the low man Tom. There were a couple people in our crew that got skunked.

I did manage to eek out a limit yesterday but it was a challenge.

The excitement was in the surf last night and at times it was an adrenalin rush!

If I hadn't dug a clam I would have enjoyed myself.

Your welcome Tom. I had a great time and would love to make it an annual event. It was good to meet a couple new people and also see familiar faces again.

The clamming was extremely tough on Sunday. We dug beside an old fella they called TumbleWeed; I think another appropriate name for him would have been Spincycle.

The surf was rushing in so hard it would knock people down and roll them. TumbleWeed got rolled almost 200ft up the beach!!

I hope everyone had fun.

Thanks for the company.

Boy, those were real sneaky waves. The weekend of the 13th was even worse, the rip tides were
way more evident, thank God the tides did not cooperate and nobody was in the surf.

I saw lots of people knocked down all up and down the beach. I think I was the low man for the day with 4 clams. I had my trusty rubber boots, I was the guy you saw running for his life every time a wave came in.
Think I'd rather be on the Bar in a ebb tide riding the rollers than in the surf yesterday.

Thanks for the hospitality Fishplay.
It was a pleasure to meet you, and the family.

I had a Picture of a full limit of razors, but now I cant find it. I guess I have to get my kid to show me where its hiding on this darn computer.

Nice to see Threemuch, Bug_flicker, Bugleman, and a few others from I-fish there.

Merry X-mas!!

Peace, Tom
