Default Discount Tackle (Tuna Gear)

There is a Marine and Fishing supply company in Seattle which will sell to Ifish (TunaHolics), as a group, at a substantial discount. The same applies to Zukers. Orders would have to be made in quantity .
If there are any questions, comments, suggestions,etc...my email is available in my profile.

I'd be interested either way!

Dave......quoted discounted price as of 12/18 on 7Strand TC100's.......$2.67 in quantity.
There are 3 types of 7Strand Clones.
1...Straight Clone (vinyl skirt)
2...Clone with feathers (vinyl and feathers)
3...Feather Clone (feathers only)
Quoted prices are for the "Straight Clone"
To my knowledge, Zuker's and Cedar Plugs are not available at this time.

Aqua-Holic -
Is this company you refer to Seattle Marine, aka SeaMar? This is where I get most of my gear.

Good prices but remember that TC means Tuna clone. That is a plastic skirt molded over a lead head with painted on eyes, no feathers. They are cheaper than TCF anywhere you find them.

The prices I got at Englunds were for TCF or Tuna clone feather. Same thing but with feathers and more expensive. Englunds did not offer a volume discount, which is a bum deal.

I think the 6" Zukers is a better jig but the TCFs work too. Zuker does not make a 4" jig like the (100 millimeter) TCF100. Smaller jigs and plugs were very productive last summer.

I've not used TCs very much. The feathers seem to work more consistently and I've only run TCs 5 years ago when I first started.

The SS hook price is awesome, when are you getting the hooks Dean?

Hamachi.......yes it is SeaMar.

John......you are correct about the "Tuna Clones". They are vinyl skirt only. I can inquire about the Tuna Clone Feathers. SeaMar did say however the straight feather clones tended to fall apart due to the way the feathers were attached to the head. I hope to make an order by mid January. We have the minimun for the TC200's already. SeaMar deals in wholesale whereas I'm sure Englands does not. I made an effort to contact Englands in Newport, but Dean (the manager) has yet to return my call.

Dean, I have several black and purple TCF200 jigs that are like 4 yrs old. The colors are muddled on the feathers and vinyl skirts and they look beat up but they still fish.

Has anyone tried the straight feathers?

Thanks Dean

All of my feathers over time get beat down. The colors run and the feathers fly away. I do not fish feathers much anymore as there are much better lures out there. The plastic skirted Zukers for example are bullet proof. Cider plugs last almost forever. The yozuri magnums take a beating and keep on catching.Clones work well but are only one lure in a mix of many. Mark
