It's great for pontoons anywhere below 4th Bridge. Like someone recommended above, first stop should be at Nestucca Sporting Goods in Hebo. Ron will get you a license, up-to-date info, and provide a shuttle anytime. Good luck.
My friend and are going to fish the Nestucca in a couple weeeks how do we get temporary liceneses and any idea how much they cost? Is now a pretty good time to fish that river? And to take our pontoon boats down it? P.S We are wa residents and practice catch and release on all native steelhead,i know i asked alot of question's so thanks in advance! RH
You can purchase daily tags and lisence for I think 1 3 5 & 7 day I believe. I don't have a copy of the regs infront of me right now but they are listed under tags and lisence requirments.

i think one day licences are around 16 bucks .?not sure but somewhere in there..also it is a good time for nates and only getting better.you can get licences pretty much anywhere ..onthe river in hebo at nestucca valley sporting goods ..

It's floatable in pontoons, but I don't usually see many out there.
As far as the fishing goes, isn't anytime a good time to go ? :grin:
