Re: Son needs help
I'm not a bird hunter, but if I was I can see a need for it. Probably in the 50-75 range.

Looks great.
I don't mess with guns...too spastic.
But if I were a hunter that would be an excellent whatever you call it.

Re: Son needs help
Come on lets get some hunters in here. That blind my not be state of the art but it is sure worth more then 50.00 to 75.00. The guys that would pay only that much for it you would be with out one because you will neever find one for that price.
If you could round out the corners on the blind it will blend in better, you can always use the plat material from the area you are hunting to help it blend in.
I would say 150.00 to 200.00 would be a price.

If I were a hunter I may want one. It would also make a great privacy curtain for an outdoor bathroom. I would pay $100+ if I needed one.

I'd pay $150 to $200 for it. It needs some refinement like the opening could be about 6" to a foot lower but tell your son good job.

I would say in the $125 range unless you farmed out the labor to East Asia. Then $85.

Re: Son needs help
I've done some duck hunting, and the only issue I can think of is that if it's that light and that big, wind could be a real problem. Even a light wind could set that thing flying. You'd need some way to anchor it. If you had a way to keep it down or it was a day with no wind, I'd say it'd be worth about 200 bucks.

Thing is it breaks down to be easy to carry, so you don't want to be carrying weights. I'd suggest a souped-up tent spike kind of thing maybe, with aluminum or even plastic spkies light enough to tote easily.

Re: Son needs help
What a great result from your school project. Pricing should be in the $99-$129 price range.
You need to see if you could get some feedback from the Cabelas sales department. This is unique and clever. There definitely should be some market interest for this.

The well known competition sells a similar one for $175. So I would expect somewhere in that range.
Would consider it if a sitting hunter can see out of it.

yes we have already talked about lowering the front a little bit.
We are also toying with the idea of making another skin that is rain and wind proof so it can be used as a fishing shack too.

Son needs help
Ok my son needs some help here,he had to make something for a school project and this blind is what he decided to make.It is 5'8"H X 4'D X 6"W .Now he has to get 100 people to respond to some questions. #1 Would you buy this? #2 How much would you be willing to pay for it.?
As you can see in this pic it all breaks down and fits in a duffle bag for easy carring to and from the field.
