Addictive personality and tuna.
Im just a bit worried . My wife would be very worried if she was reading these posts about the passion for tuna .How desperately hooked you all are .
I am an addictive personality. I do every thing(I like) too hard and too much.
I dont just fish , I FISH. I dont just hunt ,, I HUNT. Ive been that way my entire life and havent changed . Now that Im interested in catching some of these "Bule Water"beasts Im a bit concerned that Ill end up having to move Or. or something crazy.
I can already feel it ,,, Im hooked , and have yet to catch one. Hi Ho. id. painter

Re: Addictive personality and tuna.
IDP - I already had that chat with your wife. I asked her if she'd mind relocating to Oregon. She didn't seem to hate the idea, but mentioned how long it took you to find your job of choice... maybe it will be easier to find a position in one of our depressed coastal economies.
In other words, there is no doubt in my mind that you'll be jonesin' for TUNA! sitting back there in Idaho.

Re: Addictive personality and tuna.
id. painter,
Yes. As a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, I can say today TUNA! is one of my new drugs of choice. And that's "O.K." I can "own" those feelings today. It doesn't make me feel all "happy-sad." I don't feel the need to "draw boundaries." I just let it flow like the ocean breeze.
Results may vary from boat to boat, but the concept is still the same.
Hope to meet you this summer. Looks like I missed you and your wife at the last TA Meeting.
Yes is the answer and total surrender is the key,
Ragnar

Re: Addictive personality and tuna.
To be hooked on tuna. As of right now I have two children . A 5 year old , an 11 year old and a wife who are slowly ,unconciously, becoming addicted. They arnt becoming addicts because of the rush of catching them , or the hunt or the open ocean.,, but because of a couple local dealers who go by the names of Bug -Flicker and Keta. These guys are promoting the desiese to young children as well as adults . They actually sent us a starter package . To get us hooked .
I think they know I have a boat that will work.
Hi, Ho. id. p.
P.S. We are loving the canned tuna. Last night we ate another jar of Keta brand and it is great stuff. Thank you again.
